The Hall accommodates 24 adults in 12 bedrooms. Newly renovated Byre next door to the Hall can accommodate a further 6 guests across 3 ensuite bedrooms.
-
Yes – it's a fantastic house for dogs. We have a spacious lobby with a lockable gate for keeping your dogs overnight, while during the day they have free roam of the ground floor of the Hall.
-
The Byre is fully disabled friendly with full ground floor access and a bedroom with wet room. The main house, Bruisyard Hall, can be accessed via wheelchairs, however is is an incredibly old house and does have a lot of steps and uneven floors.
-
Whilst we do have a lot of beautiful space, we don't permit camping on the grounds.
-
Our fifteen bedrooms at the estate are as follows: Twins or doubles: 7, Twin: 1, Doubles: 7
-
Yes we do – we can provide two z-beds for children under twelve, and two cots free of charge.
-
There is a Tesla charging station attached to a convenient point on the Barn.
-
We have a back up generator to keep everything going in case of any power failure. There are also solar panels which supply electricity to the estate.
-
As well as the solar panels mentioned above, there is a biomass boiler which heats both the Hall and Barn with wood gathered from the Estate.
catering
-
To ensure the best level of service we have our own in-house catering team at Bruisyard and therefore do not allow for external caterers.
-
Yes! We host two Bruisyard wedding tasting evenings a year, one in early Spring and the other late Autumn. Once you book your wedding at the estate, we shall invite you both to one of these evenings, where you can sample canapés, a sample wedding breakfast menu, as well as discuss your wedding plans with the Event Team.
-
We do! We can cater for as much or as little as you need at the Hall – everything from gorgeous cooked breakfasts, to three course serviced meals.
-
We have a fantastic wine list, together with great options for beer and cider so to keep things really simple, we can permit bringing in your own wine and sparkling, however there is a corkage fee involved. There are no restriction on alcohol at the Hall.
-
We're happy to provide cask beers and special spirits on request at the Barn. Speak to us and we'll see what we can do.
-
We are not a hotel or a B&B and so breakfast isn't provided as standard, however by prior arrangement our chef can come to the Hall to cook a variety of wonderful breakfasts, brunches, lunches and evening dining for your stay with us at the estate.
-
We do have a BBQ at the Hall, on the patio outside the kitchen. It's a gas BBQ and it's free to use.
