The most special place for the most special day!

Even though I was born and raised in Suffolk, I had not heard of Bruisyard Country Estate so it was not even on my radar when initially searching for wedding venues. However, in November 2022, we stumbled across Bruisyard’s Wedding Open Day advert on Instagram and instantly loved the idea that you could have the venue for 3 whole days so we quickly added it to our list of must-see venues.

As soon as we drove into the car park, we could see how special this place was and immediately felt that this was a strong contender for our big day. The greeting we received from the staff as we entered the medieval barn was so welcoming. We have to mention Ruth, in particular, as she could not be more accommodating with all of our questions.

After getting a good feel for the main barns, we headed up to the house and, almost instantly, this is where we made our decision to book Bruisyard. We could just see all our family and friends celebrating our most special weekend with us in this phenomenal house. It felt different to any of the other venues which we had seen and it took us all of 24 hours to e-mail Ruth and secure our date.

Throughout the process, Ruth and the team were nothing short of amazing and they made the whole planning so easy. They could not do enough to accommodate all our requests and questions. The whole team are genuinely one of the best parts about Bruisyard and our wedding day would not have been what it was without their hard work and dedication. We will never be able to thank them all enough.

The wedding weekend itself was more than we could ever have imagined. We never wanted it to end and we’re still getting compliments now on how wonderful the celebrations were. We even had one family member say that “I have been to a lot of lovely weddings in my time but yours was the loveliest wedding ever”. We can’t help but feel that this was mainly because of Bruisyard Country Estate.

We cannot wait to go back for our 10-year anniversary!!
