Welcome to Bruisyard Country Estate

Set in an enviable position in glorious Suffolk countryside, the Bruisyard Country Estate includes the historic and charming Hall, a range of buildings including the Suffolk Barn, all set in 700 acres of beautiful grounds.

Well-kept lawns and flowerbeds stretch out from the buildings, with shingled areas to park up to 80 cars. Behind the hall is a peaceful lake which sparkles in the morning sunshine - an extremely popular backdrop for photos. Further out you’ll find meadows full of wildflowers, rolling green fields and plenty of shady wooded areas. It’s ideal for casual strolls, a morning jog or a good explore with the dogs.

The HALL

Four poster beds, chandeliers, grand dining room, enormous kitchen, snooker room - a stay at Bruisyard Hall is a truly luxurious experience

The oldest parts of Bruisyard Hall date back over 700 years, incorporating the fourteenth-century remains of a nunnery. The rest of this beautiful house is mid-16th century, with later alterations. Full of texture, interest and warmth, it’s somewhere you can properly relax, like any good family home.

The barn

Our beautiful 17th century structure has been completely restored to give you the perfect place for an event. Two storeys high, with a vaulted beamed ceiling, polished wood floor and full height windows overlooking the grounds, the Barn is light and airy, the perfect setting for a memorable occasion.

The BYRE

The recently renovated Byre, a previous farm outbuilding, adds a further three luxurious ensuite bedrooms to the Estate, as well as a private courtyard with an all weather indoor social area. This provides the ideal setting to host welcome drinks for guests or a range of different informal dining provided by Bruisyard in house chefs, from grazing brunches to fine dining.
