An intimate wedding at Bruisyard Country Estate is the perfect choice for spending your special day with your closest friends and family. Exquisitely restored, this historical house is a gorgeous location for your ceremony and celebrations. It’s just the right size for a really personal occasion, allowing you to spend quality time with all your guests in luxurious surroundings.
the ceremony
Getting married in a historic country house is a fabulously romantic experience. You can choose to hold your ceremony inside our wonderful Entrance Hall or the elegant Drawing Room. And in summer months many couples choose to wed outdoors in the beautiful walled gardens - with the flowers in full bloom and the sunlight dappling the lawn, it is incredibly picturesque.
the RECEPTION
After you’ve exchanged vows and rings, it’s time to celebrate and take pictures with your guests maybe in the spacious grounds with a celebratory drink, or in colder months the Drawing Room with its roaring log fire is a wonderfully cosy place to be.
Before the big day our award-winning chefs will have worked closely with you to create a menu that matches your dream. Now is the time to see what it’s really like as you and your guests tuck into a sumptuous wedding breakfast in the dining room, around one banqueting table that comfortably seats 30 guests.

Our Head Chef can work with you to create a wedding feast that you and your guests will love, which showcases not just the best of regional, seasonal food but also your own unique taste.
You also have the option to use one of the existing menus as the starting point - created to offer the perfect balance of flavours, and they include vegetarian and vegan menu plans.
